Composite Resin Looks Natural
We use composite resin for dental fillings because of the material’s appearance, durability, and versatility. Unlike metal fillings, composite resin can match the shade of your tooth’s natural appearance so you don’t have to worry about it standing out. They also require less invasive preparation, and can be bonded directly to your tooth.
What To Expect During The Process
When you come in for your appointment, the area will be examined by your dentist. X-rays may be taken to get a closer look at the area and we will update your oral health records. The area will then be numbed so you feel comfortable during the treatment. The decayed part of your tooth will be gently removed and the filling will be placed. Your dentist will check that the material fits properly with your bite at the end of the appointment.
